The hotel calls itself a 5-star but falls short in many areas. The towels are rough, showers barely warm, and some electrics pose safety concerns. Breakfast options feel like a hostel setup, and the lack of an evening restaurant situation left us ordering a mediocre Thai delivery. it needs a more polished identity.

In a serene rural setting, this historic chateau offers a cozy ambiance. With 40 hectares of forest and manicured gardens, it feels like a hidden gem. The welcoming staff went above and beyond, even providing food upon our late arrival. This unique experience will surely linger in our memories.

The charming owner provided wonderful insights about the property’s history, adding a special touch to our stay. Each meal we had delivered from local restaurants was delightful. the towels in the room could definitely use improvement, as they felt a bit rough, and I would have preferred more variety in breakfast options. The shared kitchen came in handy for late-night snacks, yet it could benefit from a bit more organization. the chateau has a fantastic vibe, blending historical charm with modern comforts, making it a perfect getaway.

The grounds are truly enchanting with lovely wildlife roaming freely around, creating a wonderful atmosphere! The outdoor heated pool was a delight, especially since it had a cover for cooler days. We also enjoyed using the mountain bikes to explore the estate, including the beautiful woods where we spotted deer. The view from our Family Room was serene, allowing us to unwind and appreciate nature.

The towels were quite rough against the skin, making them less comfortable than expected.

we stayed in the tiny house and it was just breathtaking. the view from the deck was amazin, we watched deer and it was so peaceful. the chateau is just beautifull and there are so many things to do and explore in the area. philippe and his family were super nice hosts and made us feel at home. the kids loved finding a praying mantis!
